Groups at Valley

We believe one of the primary ways God accomplishes the Great Commission is through biblical community. In Acts 2:42–47, we see believers devoted to God's Word, prayer, fellowship, and mission together. Community was never meant to be a place where Christians simply gather—it was designed to be a people who encourage one another, grow in their faith, and actively engage those who are far from God.

Our groups exist to help people take their next step with Jesus while living on mission together. As we gather in homes, share meals, study Scripture, pray, and care for one another, we seek to become disciples who make disciples. We believe life transformation happens best in community, and we want every person at Valley to experience the joy of following Jesus alongside others.

TRIBES

Tribe is a core part of who we are at Valley. They are a place where you will find community, build meaningful relationships, study God's Word, pray together, care for one another, and live on mission side by side.

We want every person at Valley to find their tribe—a group of people who will encourage them to follow Jesus, reach those far from God, and multiply disciples who make disciples. We believe life transformation happens best in community, and we desire to see these groups become a catalyst for gospel impact throughout our city, campus, and beyond.

At Valley, we offer community groups for:

- Campus Tribes (college students only)

- City Tribes (adults and families only)

- City and Campus (college and adults combined)

Each Tribe meets for one year and then multiplies by raising up leaders from within the group. We believe that joining a community group is one of the best ways to get connected and engaged at Valley.

HUDDLES

Huddles are where we intentionally invest in becoming more like Jesus and helping others do the same. While spiritual growth can begin in a crowd, we believe disciples are most often formed around tables, in living rooms, and through consistent relationships centered on God's Word.

These groups consist of 3–5 men or women who meet regularly and huddle together to study Scripture, pray together, encourage one another, and pursue obedience to Christ. Huddles are designed to provide accountability, foster spiritual maturity, and equip believers to become disciple-makers. Our goal is not simply to gain more biblical knowledge, but to be transformed by the gospel as we follow Jesus together.

Each Huddle meets for a year and then multiplies. At Valley, we want to see disciples who make disciples, and Huddles are one of the primary ways that mission becomes a reality.

At Valley, we truly believe that Huddle will change your life.
