What should I expect?
Valley is currently in launch season as a church, which is a really exciting time. We are gathering in homes on Sunday to worship, pray, and intentionally build community as we prepare for launch. You can expect to see adults and college students. We would love for you to get connected and find out how God can use you to have kingdom impact.
We worship God together through congregational singing, prayer, reading and preaching of the Bible, and sharing the Gospel.
Our worship style is contemporary and utilizes a worship band to fit the context of the city of Knoxville and the campus at the University of Tennessee. You can expect newer worship songs to praise God as well as modern hymns. On special occasions, we will praise God together with orchestral instruments as well.
Our pastors preach primarily expository messages which means that we preach text-driven, Spirit-led messages, that are centered on glorifying Christ, and that prayerfully change lives.
